Clubs & Classes

All clubs are located at 300 West Cummings Park, Suite 354, Woburn, MA unless otherwise noted in red.
Pre-registration is required of all clubs/classes.
Cash or check is accepted. Checks can be made out to Riverside Community Care.

Living Forward!

Riverside Family Support Center's Living Forward model is designed for adults with ID/ASD to join together in a comfortable setting to make connections in the community and network, while working on social and employment skills.  Living Forward will have an open schedule on Tuesdays from 10-2, tailored to the individuals needs.  Mentors will be on site to help work on Social and Job Skills. Computers will be available to work on resumes and job searches.

Teen Night!

This club is for teens ages 13-19.  Through a partnership with the Arlington Boys and Girls Club, this club offers a hangout spot with other teens from the club.  It occurs two Friday's per month from 6:30-8:30pm.  There will be dinner, music, games, basketball, crafts, and more!  Dates TBD

The Social Scene

Ages: 13-22
When: TBD
Cost: $5 per session 
Location: First Connections Building, 155 Concord Road, Bedford, MA
This group will focus on social interactions with peers, online safety, social boundaries, cell phone use, and more.

Adult Social Club

Ages: 17+
When: One Monday a month, 6pm-8:30pm (9/11, 10/30, 11/13, 12/1)
Cost: $5 per session (some require $10)
This club promotes our members to gather, laugh, and have fun together. The curriculum of events is designed by club members.

Beyond the Bell

Ages: 10-17
When: TBD
Cost: $5 per session
This club is designed to provide homework help, fun activities, social interaction with peers, and snacks.

Healthy Taste Buds Cooking Class

Ages: 17+
When: Wednesdays for 10 weeks, 5:45pm-8pm (9/27, 10/4, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/15, 11/29, 12/6, 12/13)
Cost: $5 per session
Our Healthy Taste Buds Cooking Class encourages healthy eating and good kitchen habits. Members will learn about kitchen safety, how to follow recipes, and table manners.

Kids Club

Ages: 6-12
When: One Saturday per month, 10am-12pm (9/23, 10/21, 11/18, 12/16)
Cost: $5 per session
Our Kids Club encourages social interaction with peers of the same age. At Kids Club members will meet new friends, play games, watch movies and enjoy creating arts and craft projects together.

Out and About Club

Ages: 17+
When: One Saturday a month, time TBD based on destination (9/16, 10/14, 11/11, 12/9)
Cost: $15 per outing
Our Out and About Club brings individuals on fun Saturday outings with Riverside Staff. The club has gone to venues such as the movie theatre, the bowling alley, the Rainforest Café and more.  

Senior Saturdays

Ages: 50+
When: TBD
Cost: $5 per session
Our Senior Saturdays Club allows adults to interact with their peers and play bingo. A small breakfast item will be provided.

Sib Club

Ages: 9-16
When: TBD
Cost: $5 per session
Our Sib Club is an opportunity for siblings of persons served to interact with their peers. Members have the opportunity to meet other siblings to discuss various topics, join in on activities, and have fun.
